2/28/11

Rather nice out today, for the most part.  Was a little chilly, temp mostly in the upper 20's, currently 25 F, but the sun was out and even though cloud coverage was minimal (less than 20 percent) it still felt like the sun had a nice warming effect.  No precipitation, and only a light wind blowing in from the Northwest.
Tomorrow should be slightly more cloudy than today, and hopefully with that a bit warmer.  I wouldn't anticipate any snow or rain, and I don't imagine the wind will be a-whippin wildly either.

2/24/11

This ones gotta be quick!  The temp is 31 degrees F, 80 % cloud coverage (stratus clouds?) and the wind is coming in from the north east at 2 mph.
I suspect tomorrow will be similar, though due to the clouds and wind, I will predict at least a light snowfall sometime on Friday.

2/23/11

Despite the complete lack of sunshine, today has actually been rather nice.  It is currently 33.6 degrees F, though the internet is insisting that it feels like 34, the wind is blowing at about 6 mph from the South/Southwest, and like the rest of the day thus far, there is currently no precipritation, though the hummidity level is 67%.
Tomorrows forcast will likely be somewhat cooler than today, thought not by much. It should once again be overcast, and the wind should not be blowing unreasonably.

2/22/11

Fairly nice out there today, temp right now is around 30 degrees F, feels like 21, but thats not too bad considering what we had recently.  Wind blowing in from the South/Southwest at about 8 mph, and there roughly 60 percent cloud coverage in the sky right now.
Tomorrow will probably warm up a bit, hopefully into the 30's, and it will probably be more cloudy than it is today.  I don't expect the wind to be terribly strong, and though there a chance of some snowfall, I'm not expecting much, if any at all.

2/21/11

Today was, unfortunately, much like yesterday, only, more unfortunately, it was slightly colder.  The temp is currently 18 degrees F, and was the same at around noon this afternoon.  Snow has been falling pretty consistently all day, and the sky has been completely covered with clouds throughout.  The wind hasn't been much of a problem though, blowing consistently around 10 mph from the northeast.
On the bright side, this basically leaves only room for improvement for tomorrow, and I would guess though tomorrow may be somewhat similar to today, that the temperature will warm up to at least in the 20's tomorrow and that the sun will show for at least part of the day.

2/20/11

Wow.  Uhm... Hmm... Well, today is.... interesting... Especially considering how nice and not cold and snowy it was yesterday... If I recall, it was even wet outside from the snow having melted.   Today however, completely different story.  If you live in the Eau Claire area and you look outside, you will notice that the ground is covered in snow.  The temp is currently 27 degrees F, so it isn't actually that bad, and the snow is pretty cool I suppose.  Not much of a wind out there, very lightly blowing from the south east. This is all most likely caused by the Low pressure system to our southwest.
Tomorrow's conditions will likely be very similar; chilly, snowy, and fairly calm feeling (not much wind, that is to say).

2/18/11

I fear today is somewhat less pleasant than those of the recent past.  Currently, the temperature resides at 30 degrees Fahrenheit, though the air itself feels somewhat more chilled.  The wind is coming in at about 9 mph from the Northwest, the dew point is 16 degrees F, and the sky is almost perfectly clear.
Tomorrow seems to be shaping up to be a very similar day, perhaps accompanied with more clouds, however, which hopefully will warm the air to a more pleasant temperature.

2/17/11

A foggy morning, very foggy, but a rather nice day again.  The wind was rather mild, maybe 2 mph blowing from the Southeast, and the temp was once again beautiful (it is currently 46 degrees F).  The cloud coverage is very much overcast, and there is much moisture in the air. The dew point is 41 degrees F.
Tomorrow should be a very similar day, the warm front that came in today should remain until at least tomorrow night, and the water vapor level may drop a bit, giving us less fog and maybe even a peek at the sun.

2/16/11

What a day!  Warm as hell it is!  Currently 47 degrees F, roughly 16% cloud coverage, sunny, and almost no wind!  Unfortunately, it does seem as if some clouds are soon going to be rolling in from the south.
Tomorrow, judging by the clouds, I will guess it may be a little colder than today, and perhaps even a light rain may hit us.  I'm guessing it'll still be fairly warm though.

2/15/11

The weather is beautiful out, though I cannot say I feel the same inside.  My mother is a teacher at UWRF, and I fear even the beautiful weather cannot calm the other storm.  Regardless, it is currently clear out, 41 degrees F, and a slight wind is blowing from the south.
Tomorrow's weather will likely be the same once again, perhaps a bit more cloudy and perhaps even a bit warmer, but no severe changes.

2/14/11

Once again, what a day!  Beautiful temperature (though slightly colder than yesterday), almost no wind, and a fairly clear sky!  Currently it is 36.7 degrees F, which is slightly colder than it was this afternoon, and clouds are beginning to roll in from the Northeast, but a majority of the day saw roughly 15 % cloud cover only.  There was no precipitation and like I said, the wind was barley even a factor for most of the day.
Tomorrow is looking like its going to be similar once again, perhaps still effects of the warm front that recently passed over, but temperatures should be up in the 30's like they were today, and even though it may be a little bit more cloudy, it should still be fairly nice over all.

2/13/11

Holy cow is it nice out there!  And it has been getting nice all weekend!  Except for Friday morning, which was somewhat bitterly cold.  Friday also gave us a light snowfall in the afternoon, and it did indeed begin to warm up Friday night.  Saturday was also warm, and centered at around 32 degrees F.  It was mostly clear, with a light cloud cover, and even into the evening it remained quite warm.  Currently, it is 43.3 degrees F and there isn't a cloud in the sky.  Looks like that warm front moved in alright, let's just hope this keeps up!
Tomorrow I'm predicting will be similar to today, though a little colder, maybe somewhere around the mid 30's, and it will probably be a bit more cloudy.  But, all in all, this will certainly be nicer than the weather we have been having!

2/10/11

Today was, as predicted, much like yesterday.  It even felt a little warmer and there was a lot less ice on the river than yesterday as well.  Its currently about 15 degrees F, its sunny, maybe 8 % cloud coverage, and the wind is hardly making a peep.
From today's weather presentation, we know that we can expect some similar weather tomorrow and even a warm spurt in the late afternoon.  Winds will probably be coming in from the north west, and we should once again have very clear skies.

2/9/11

Today was not nearly as bad as I thought it would be.  It was still clear out, maybe 5% cloud coverage once again, and even though it was only 9 degrees Fahrenheit, it did not feel as cold as the -15 we felt yesterday.  The wind today was also more mild, about 5 mph calmly blowing from the west.
with this in mind, I'm going to predict another increase in temperature tomorrow, about the same wind speed/wind chill, and another fairly sunny day.  I hope I'm right, because I'd really like to kick this cold spurt.

2/8/11

Oh boy, if yesterday was miserable, today was just plain old hell.  Maybe 5% cloud coverage and a blistering wind from the West.  The temperature got up at one point to about 5 degrees Fahrenheit, but then quickly reverted back to about 2, and all the while it felt somewhere around -15.
I expect the sky to stay clear, the wind to stay bitter, and the temperature to stay cold.  Winter sucks.

Monday, February 7, 2011

2/7/11

Today was cold.  17 degrees Fahrenheit.  With a bitter wind from the northwest.  There were also clouds, roughly 90% coverage.  No snow today either.  But the main thing was the cold.  That cold, man, it was brutal.
Judging from the northwest wind, tomorrow will probably be something similar to today's, cold, cloudy, accompanied by a bitter wind that makes everyone miserable, and I'm even gonna go as far as to say that it will probably snow.

2/6/11

The weather over the weekend was rather nice, despite the lack of sun.  Cloud cover was practically 100% on Saturday, and around 50% on Sunday.  The temperature on both days was right around 30 degrees Fahrenheit, and the wind on each day was rather mild and from the northwest.  Neither day recorded any snowfall.
Based on the wind direction and speed, I would guess tomorrow is going to be a very similar day, with around 75% cloud coverage, a mild wind from the north, a lack of snowfall, and warm temperatures in the high 20's and low 30's.

Friday, February 4, 2011

2/4/11

The weather today was (has been thus far) quite nice, actually.  With an average temperature of about 32 degrees Fahrenheit, roughly 0% cloud coverage, and only a mild wind coming from the southwest, it certainly feels like the groundhog has indeed not seen his shadow!
I'm going to hop aboard the spring train, and, perhaps more based on desire than knowledge, I will predict tomorrow to be again warm (around 32), sunny, and with an even lighter wind coming from the south again.

2/3/11

Todays weather was somewhat similar to yesterdays, the temp was warmer, around 20 degrees for most of the day, though it felt colder because of the wind (stronger than average, from the south).  It was again clear today, with roughly 5% cloud coverage.  Once again the city of Eau Claire was snowless.
Based on todays weather, I will predict that tomorrow will be a very similar day, with slight differences in cloud coverage (I will guess more cloud coverage tomorrow), temperature (slightly warmer), and a bit less windy.

2/2/11

Today's weather was quite different from what I predicted it would be.  In fact, just about the only similarity was that it was still Winter today.  The sky was clear, practically 0 % cloud coverage, and the wind today came in from the west, not the north.  It wasn't a particularly strong wind, I would call it mild myself, and the temperature was about 12 degrees Fahrenheit, colder than yesterday's 20.
In light of today's weather I must admit that I have no idea what to expect tomorrow.  I'm going to guess that it will be cold, Somewhere around 15 degrees Fahrenheit, and clear out like it was today.  I will predict a southern wind blowing a bit harder than it did today.  And I will say that I am anticipating zero snowfall tomorrow.

Tuesday, February 1, 2011

2/1/11

The weather today was indeed quite similar to yesterdays, 100 % cloud coverage with a wind coming in from the North/Northeast.  It did feel a tiny bit colder, probably because the wind felt a bit more chilled than yesterday, but the temperature was around 20 degrees fahrenheit for the majority of day.  The only large difference was that today we did not get any snowfall or any kind of precipitation.
I would predict that tomorrow will be, once again, a very similar day.  With full or close to full cloud coverage, a wind from the North, and around 20 degree weather.  Once again, I will guess that there will be little to no snowfall tomorrow.
