Data Analysis

Aside from January and February, these temperature charts are a bit off from the charts you would see for this year.  Blame global warming or don't, either way it must be admited that the cold lasting into March and April (and even into the early stages of May) has been very strange and very bothersome for many.

Looking at the rain graphs above, you will notice there is no graph for the month of January.  This is becuase the Rooftop data does not record total precipritation, but only rain, and has not rained in january in the time of these records, nor did it this year.  In terms of rain, many of these charts are very different from the charts you would see of rain in the 2011 year.  This is largely becuase of the cooler temperatures we saw this year lasting into late April (it even fluried some at the very end of the month) causing precipitation to not fall in the form of rain, but largely at snow (we had plenty of that), sleet, and gropple.

Wind direction has been the one thing that hasn't seemed to change drastically from the past months.  Largely, the wind direction varies greatly in each month, and the 2011 year has kept this same trend.
